Pointless is a collection of free, interactive cosmic calculators. The questions are stupid. The math is not.
We build tools that answer questions nobody asked, using real physics and real astronomical data. What would you weigh on Jupiter? How long does light take to reach Mars? How high could you jump on the Moon? If the Sun were a basketball, where would Earth be?
Every calculator on this site uses surface gravity data from NASA planetary fact sheets, physical constants from CODATA, and astronomical distances from IAU-approved measurements. The interface is fun. The numbers are accurate to the best of our knowledge.
All tools run entirely in your browser. No servers, no databases, no signups. The JavaScript on this page does the math locally. Your weight, your age, your sprint time — none of it is sent anywhere. We believe calculators should be free, fast, and invisible.
Because knowing your weight on a neutron star won't help you pay rent or get a promotion. But it might make you pause for 30 seconds and think about how weird the universe is. That's enough for us.
